Important. GPES Patron is an experimental research app. It can be wrong, can lose the position and can show a different place from where you are. Do not rely on it where an error could hurt someone. The driver is always responsible for how the vehicle is driven.

1. Agreement

By installing or using GPES Patron (“the app”) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

2. What the app is

The app estimates a vehicle's position from several kinds of evidence (satellite data that it does not blindly trust, motion sensors, network location, road data and, optionally, vehicle speed from an OBD-II adapter). It can give that estimate to other apps on your phone as a mock location. It is a research tool, provided as it is, and is not a certified navigation, safety or emergency system.

3. Spoofing replaces the system location

While spoofing is on, other apps (for example a navigator) receive the app's estimate instead of the system location. Those apps cannot tell it is an estimate.
Do not rely on other apps' location, including safety or emergency apps, while spoofing is on. Turn it off when you need the location your phone itself reports.
The app works only after you select it as the mock location app in Android's developer options. You can turn spoofing off in the app or from its notification, and remove the setting in Android at any time.

4. Acceptable use

Use the app only lawfully. Do not use it to deceive people or services about where you are, to cheat in games or contests, to avoid legal or contractual duties that depend on your real location (for example work-time, fleet or licence tracking), or to interfere with other people's devices. You are responsible for following the law and the terms of the apps and services you use together with it.

5. Third-party services and data

Road data is © OpenStreetMap contributors (Open Database License) and is downloaded from a public Overpass API server.
Location is also obtained through Android and Google Play services. Other apps you use with this one have their own terms and privacy policies.

6. Your data

How the app handles data, including optional recordings, is described in the Privacy Policy.

7. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without any warranty of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We do not promise that it will protect you from jamming or spoofing, that it will be accurate, continuous or error-free, or that it will work with a given phone, Android version or navigation app.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app, including from wrong, missing or delayed positions. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and ending

We may update these terms and the app. The date above shows the current version. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.

2. Що це за застосунок

3. Підміна замінює системну локацію

Поки підміна ввімкнена, інші застосунки (наприклад, навігатор) отримують оцінку застосунку замість системної локації. Вони не можуть відрізнити її від справжньої.
Не покладайтеся на локацію в інших застосунках, зокрема в застосунках безпеки чи екстрених, поки підміна ввімкнена. Вимикайте її, коли потрібна локація, яку повідомляє сам телефон.
Застосунок працює лише після того, як ви оберете його застосунком для фіктивних місцезнаходжень у параметрах розробника Android. Ви можете вимкнути підміну в застосунку чи зі сповіщення і будь-коли прибрати це налаштування в Android.

4. Допустиме використання

Використовуйте застосунок лише законно. Не використовуйте його, щоб вводити людей чи сервіси в оману щодо того, де ви перебуваєте, щоб обманювати в іграх чи конкурсах, щоб ухилятися від юридичних чи договірних обов'язків, які залежать від вашої справжньої локації (наприклад, облік робочого часу, автопарку чи ліцензій), чи щоб заважати чужим пристроям. Ви самі відповідаєте за дотримання закону та умов застосунків і сервісів, які використовуєте разом із ним.

5. Сервіси й дані третіх сторін

Дані про дороги © учасники OpenStreetMap (відкрита ліцензія баз даних) і завантажуються з публічного сервера Overpass API.
Локація також надходить через Android і сервіси Google Play. Інші застосунки, які ви використовуєте разом із цим, мають власні умови та політики конфіденційності.

6. Ваші дані

7. Відсутність гарантій
